Kahlil Johnson, a 6-7 190 pound phenom from Price High School in Los Angeles has his National Letter of Intent to play basketball at California. The Bears pick up another standout from Price High School, the alma mater of current team members Allen Crabbe and Richard Solomon. Johnson is the third member of Mike Montgomery’s current recruiting class, joining guard Tyrone Wallace of Bakersfield, and forward Kaileb Rodriguez out of Highlands Ranch, CO.
Johnson offers a dynamic wing presence for the Golden Bears to complement the skills of Allen Crabbe and primary ball-handler Justin Cobbs. With Alex Rossi and Emerson Murray transferring, the signing comes at a pivotal time, and look for the Bears to continue to put effort in on the recruiting trail.
